Online MSEM Program
- All MS in Engineering Management courses are offered in both online and on campus formats by the same professors.
- As a distance education student you can be anywhere around the globe and sign-up for these courses.
- As an on-campus student you may also want to sign-up for the online sections, which may give you further flexibility in your busy working and personal schedule.
How does it work?
UNC Charlotte’s ISE department follows best practices to deliver the online courses asynchronously. Asynchronous delivery (as opposed synchronous delivery) enables a flexible anywhere and anytime learning. This is enabled through prerecorded lectures that you can watch at your time, in your own pace and as many times as you want. Class interaction is a key and enabled through discussions with the instructor and the classmates that take place continuously in online learning forums, where main points of the lectures are discussed in great detail. Assignments are posted and submitted for feedback from the instructor. Virtual project teams of classmates locally or around the globe collaborate to apply the learnings to a practical problem from their industry. The online classes have the flexibility to schedule real time meeting sessions as well, for example to conduct project presentations or have live discussions with the instructor or your classmates. This teaching and learning experience is seamlessly enabled through our cutting edge infrastructure and online learning management system that leverages Moodle, Centra and Panopto.
Quality Matters
